The Windows version of Device Simulator provides a Windows based implementation of the original Device Simulator with a vast number of new features and usability enhancements. The current version can simulate NMCS2 devices on up to four communication links.

Matrix Indicators, Message Signs, Variable Message Signs, Ambient Light Monitors, Fog Detectors and Traffic Data Collectors are all supported over RS-232, RS-485, V.26 and Packet interfaces. For more information please see the readme file.

The Communications Tester application is capable of running independently of Tester/Device Simulator to diagnose communication issues with the target system.

It has the ability to determine the optimum configuration for Tester and Device Simulator.
