Version 3.50 expands on the existing range of features adding the following enhancements:

  • Intelligent indicators are changed to conform to the latest HA specifications
  • The MS4 mimic has been improved to more realistically represent the real MS4 sign
  • In IP mode, Multi-Message (Incomplete) is no longer allowed and message signs are set with one long Multi-Message (Complete) only
  • Keep Alive messages are sent out every 1 - 5 minutes according to the configuration or can be disabled by setting the interval to 0
  • Extended support for MS3/MS4 Intelligent mode
  • User interface is updated to reflect the latest changes

Version 3.20 of Tester fixes the following faults:

  • Finish SetAllAspect and SetAllFace sequences with StatusRequest command
  • Set result of "STOP" set aspects for certain signs is modified so that it updates correctly in StatusForm
  • In LCC-TPR mode, statistics in InfoViewer for individual transponders are modified so that it reflects the actual count
  • In LCC-TPR mode, the frequence of the poll cycle for a transponder is reduced
  • In LCC-TPR mode, the communication timing is adjusted so that the transponder can have enough time to respond to the first frame
  • TCP/IP mode address filtering
  • Update statistics form when UDP broadcast messages are transmitted
  • COBS data can be correctly loaded
  • Script can be correctly opened/closed without error messages

MCG1305 Test Scripts Version 1.00

MCG1305 is the Acceptance Test Specification for MS4 signs. The scripts in this package are designed for MCG1303A Draft V1.4.

These scripts are designed for the NMCS2 interface and NOT the NRTS LAN.

Each script is designed to provide a visual indication to the user of the test status, via the Event Viewer, which also shows whether the test has passed or failed.

IMPORTANT: Tester 3.12 or higher, must be installed on the target system before proceeding.

Tester is designed to use acceptance test package files rather then having the functions hardcoded into the application. This allows the tests to be easily updated and re-distributed.

IMPORTANT: Tester for Windows 2.10 or higher has to be installed on the target system before the acceptance tests can be installed.

Many of Tester’s functions already make use of the scripting features making the software very dynamic and expandable. We recommend that anyone interested in designing their own scripts should review the examples.

The latest version demonstrates the use of scripting language in both serial and IP script mode. For more information please see the readme file.

IMPORTANT: Tester for Windows 3.40 has to be installed on the target system before the script examples can be installed.
