Importing of COBS site data
The latest version expands on the existing range of features offering the following enhancements and new functionality:
- Extended Sign Type Support:
Support for a wide range of signal and message sign devices including the latest range of Advanced Matrix Indicators and full MS3 support, MS4 support is current in development and should be available in version 3.20.
- Enhanced User Interface:
The latest build of Tester provides an advanced range of statistics and additional device status information through a new status form, an information browser, an updated event viewer with knowledge base support and improved sign control functions.
- COBS Site Data Support:
Tester can import COBS site data files for use in LCC mode.
- Enhanced Logging:
Both high and low level logs are now generated for each operational mode. Low-level logs record both 5-BYTE and HDLC packet/frame transactions whilst the high level logs record English decoding of all the transactions in an easily readable format.
- LCC MODE (HDLC Support):
Full HDLC support is provided enabling communications with a standard Transponder and associated slave devices. LCC Mode enables an operator to initialise, set and interrogate the Standard Transponder and its slaves.
- HDLC Monitor Mode:
Monitor mode has been extended to support both Asynchronous 5-BYTE protocol and Synchronous HDLC. Monitored packets and messages are logged to disk and decoded into a readable format in real-time.
- IP Subsystem Support:
The latest build of Tester implements an IP subsystem interface allowing communication with future IP enabled matrix indicators and message signs. The mode has been designed to allow easy modification of the NMCS2 IP wrapper to support future format changes.
