 INTRODUCTION
--------------

The Communications Tester application is capable of running independently of Tester/Device Simulator to diagnose communication issues with the target system.

 INSTALLATION
--------------

The Communications Tester installs automatically from the SSL NMCS2 products CD.  To install the package, insert the SSL NMCS2 Products CD into the drive and the setup program should launch automatically.  If Auto-Run has been disabled, run the SETUP.EXE from your CD-ROM drive (e.g. D:\SETUP.EXE)

 - Disabling of software FIFO's under different operating systems to eliminate buffering errors.

 * Configuration Selection:
 - Baud Rate
 - Parity

 - Stop Bits

 - Ability to determine the optimum configuration for Tester and Device Simulator.

 - Ability to select type of protocol converter being used (e.g. USB/RS232, USB/RS485, RS232/RS485)
