FUTURE CHANGES =============================================== - Instation-LCC mode - LCC upstream mode - IP outstation-IP Instation mode MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS & INSTALLATION =============================================== Minimum Specification: - IBM Compatible PC. - Pentium 1000MHz or equivalent - 128 MB RAM - MS Windows 2000, or later versions of Windows. - 50MB free disk space. - CD-ROM drive - At least 1 RS232 COM port - At least 1 standard PCMCIA slot - At least 1 Ethernet network socket - 1024x768 resolution Recommended Specification: - Pentium 1200Mhz or equivalent - 256 MB RAM - Windows XP - At least 1 standard RS232 COM port - 1280x1024 resolution The MOTE installation is designed to upgrade any previous version of the software after and including version 2.00. Earlier versions should be removed manually by deleting the files. LICENSE PROTECTION =============================================== MOTE 4.10 will need to be activated the first time it is started. DOCUMENTATION =============================================== The MOTE will by default install both a reference manual and a quick start guide. Both can be accessed from the HELP menu. In addition version 4.10 will install a script language guide and an IP Instation- IP Outstation mode guide that can be accessed from the start menu. DATA FILES =============================================== The following example files are supplied with the current MOTE release. example.mot - example configuration file example.ip - example MOTE IP configuration file InitTprLink.scr - example script file InitLccLink.scr - example script file SoakLccLink.scr - Script to soak test all Transponders & Outstations on an LCC Link.
